It’s a no from me.
These aren’t words that you will often here from me, but in the past few weeks I have had to search deeply to fine my inner *shudders* Simon Cowell.
Yes that’s right ladies and gentlemen, I have become a panel judge. This year I was offered the opportunity to judge at Learning Technologies Awards for the Excellence in the Design of Learning Content – Public/Non-Profit Sector.
Anyone who have met me, knows that I’m incredibly passionate about all things learning and development, so having to shortlist candidates submissions to get to interview round was extremely hard. The submissions were wide ranging in the types of learning content that were designed, in many cases the results were extraordinary and in some, life changing.
I’ve been an award entrant five times in various awards and categories over the years, so I’d like to think I have a good understanding of what it is like to submit for an award and what the judges would be looking for.
